We will experiment with surface textures, technique, and silhouettes to create unique pieces. This tactile art invites us to embrace imperfection, practice patience, and discover a grounding [literally] physical outlet for our creative expression

Katie is a maker, host, and lover of gathering people around all things creative. From hosting events at Neighbor, a nonprofit creative space in Chelsea, to teaching her own candle-making and ceramics classes, Katie’s practice is rooted in a simple belief that creativity is always more fun together.
Whether it’s making a set of ceramic dishes for the next dinner party or christening a special plate for a solo night in, Katie is drawn to our everyday rituals that make a home (and life) as meaningful as possible. Working in the home goods space in a city like New York, where space is almost always limited, she embraces the idea that we might own less, but cherish more: making things that are worth using, keeping, and giving a little more shelf space to.
